When I go home to Rossville, I have always flown into KCI and rented a car right there. This week, when I priced a car rental, the best price I could get for a compact car was $377.64 (including a whole list of misc. charges) for one week at Enterprise which seemed absurdly high (and more than my round trip ticket from Baltimore). I checked to see what other car rental agencies were in the KCI area, but found that most were close to downtown KC. However, I did find one not far at all from KCI. The Enterprise agency on Prairie View Rd. just south of the airport gave me a price of $157.23 total for the same car for the same days. That is a difference of $220.41.
A taxi to and from the airport will add another $40 to the total, but that is still about half price.
If you or a friend plans to rent a car at KCI, think twice about it.

Dawgs Doing Fine With New Coach and QB
From CJ Online:
If there was any question how Rossville would make the adjustment to a new coach (Derick Hammes) and new quarterback (Tucker Horak), the Bulldogs have answered them so far.
Rossville is 2-0 against a pair of 4A North Central Kansas League teams after beating Abilene 33-21 Friday night.
Horak has flourished replacing Dalton Catron. After rushing and throwing for more than 100 yards each in the opener, Horak completed 15 of 22 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns against Abilene with Thatcher Horak catching four of those passes for 160 yards and three scores.
