Cody Lambotte is a Rossville, KS native that has made an impact on the lives of many people. He is a great family man, father, brother, son, uncle, teammate, coach, teacher, and wrestler. Cody was diagnosed with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, in April of 2017.
Cody has been an integral part of the wrestling community for many years. Beyond high school he competed at the college level at Labette Community College where he was part of a Junior College National Championship team. From there, he went on to compete as part of the NCAA Division II Nebraska-Kearney team where he was part of their first NCAA Championship.
After college, Cody went on to work for both the City of Rossville and the Rossville Schools. As a teacher, coach, and an active member of his church, he has made a positive impact on numerous students. He has dedicated countless hours to the sport of wrestling and the lives of too many people to count.
Please join us in supporting Cody and his family by raising money to help with their medical expenses. We will be doing a drawing for a trip to the wrestling NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, MN in March of 2020. The trip will include 4 tickets to all sessions, an invitation to the Ohio State after party and a hotel room during the event. Chances are 1 for $5, 5 for $20, 15 for $50 and 35 for $100.
