Nemaha Central Triangular Volleyball

Rossville lost the first match to Nemaha Central 16-25, 27-29.  They defeated Riley Co. 20-25,  25-20,  25-15.

The Dawgs lost to St. Marys 24-19 on Sept. 13 

Wamego Invitational Golf

 Rossvile was 9th of eleven Teams in the Wamego Invitational Golf Tourney.  Elly Sanders tied for sixth place.

West Franklin Inv. Golf

Elly Snders finished in fifth place with a 50 stroke total and and Jaymee Woodward was sixth with a 51 at the West Franklin Inv. 

Rossville Ranked Number Four

Writers across the state have voted on the top 1A football teams.  Conway Springs was the unamious choice for the number one spot.

Taryn Bell In Hayden Tennis Tournament

Rossville's Taryn Bell competed in the Hayden Tennis Tornament.  She won her first match 6-3 but lost the second 6-4.

Humbolt Volleyball Tourney

Rossville won the Humbolt volleyball tourney on Sept 7.    They started with a loss to Prairie View, then came back to pick up wins against Iola, Burlington, Baldwin, and Prairie View.

 The top runners from Rossville were Madelyn Wonnell, who finished in 22nd place, and Dalton Vershelden coming in 21st.

Silver Lake Whips Dawgs 33.26 in OT

    The Rossville football team lead most of their game at Silver Lake on Sept. 6, but lost in Overtime 33-26.  Rossville led 10-3 at  half time.  Silver Lake went ahead with about 2:20 left in the fourth, but the Dawgs came back to go ahead by 3  points with less than a minute remaining.  The Eagles moved into position and there was 1.4 seconds on the clock when they snapped the ball for their tying field goal.  

    Silver Lake scored 7 in the first overtime period but Roffville drive ended at about the two yard line.

Volleyball Team Gets Two Wins

 RHS volleyball team started the season with wins over Jeff West and Sabetha.  The Lady Dawgs precvailed 25-19 and 25-18 over Jeff West and then 25-23 and 25-18 over Sabetha.
