Cair Paravel Is New Foe In Big East League

Rossville will face Cair Paravel on Oct. 11 for the first time.  They are projected to prevail over them and go 3-0 in disrrict play.

Silver Lake (4-1) will face Riley County (4-1) on the same night.

Elly Sanders tied for 11th with a 101

Horton Cross Country Tournament.

Rossville finished 6th of 10 teams in the Horton Boys 5,000 M run.  Nate Fund finished 24th, Torin Culbertson was 27th and Dalton Vershelden came in 32nd,

Madelyn Wonnell was the only Lady Dawg competing in the 5,000 M run, finishing in the 26th position.

Rossville finished in fourth place at the Oct. 5th Silver Lake Tournament.

Elly Sanders on CJ List

Elly Sanders was on the  Capital-Journal list of outstanding athletic performance last week.  She placed fourth in the Jeff West invitational golf tournament.

Connor Bush On CJ List

 Connor Bush was named to the Capital Journal weekly list of outstanding performances in the Mission Valley game on Oct. 4, 2024.Connor scored on a 74 yard run and also on a 4 yd reception.  He also scored on a 30 yard interception and TD.

Rossville Wallops Mission Valley

 Rossville defeated Mission Valley Oct 1 after taking an early 29-0 first half lead.  The second half was played with a "running clock" to speed up the end of the runaway game which ended with a 43-0 Dawg victory.

Rossville girls added two more wins for the season by winning the Rossville Triangular.

Royal Valley Invitational Cross Country Results

Rossville did not field a team, but Rossville sophomore Madelyn Wonnell finished seccond in the Girls 5,000 Meter run.  Senior Logan Kufahl finished 17th in the boys 5,000 meter run
