Accident on Davis Road

A rollover accident at 5:33 a.m. in the 6000 block of N.W. Davis Road sent one person to a Topeka hospital by American Medical Response ambulance, authorities said.
The injured person, described only as a juvenile male who was driving the vehicle, suffered a possible head injury, said Shawnee County sheriff’s Cpl. Kelly Jordan.
Upon arrival at the accident scene just northeast of Rossville, sheriff’s deputies located a Ford F-250 pickup truck that sustained “significant damage” as it rolled over and came to rest off the roadway, Jordan said.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. The identity of the driver, who was alone in the pickup, wasn’t immediately released.
