Levi William Bishop, 24, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in St. Marys.He was born June 15, 1989 at Onaga, the son of Rick and Sandy VanDeWiele Bishop.
He grew up in the Emmett, Rossville and St. Marys communities. Levi graduated from Rossville High School in 2008.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Joyce and a great-grandmother, Phyllis Gleason.
Survivors include his father, Rick Bishop, Rossville; his mother, Sandy (Scott Swisher) VanDeWiele, St. Marys; sisters, Bailey, Jessie and Jamie; step-sisters, Kendra and Katie; step-brothers, Jeff and Cody; grandparents, Glen and Sharon Bishop, Rossville and great grandfather, Harold Gleason, Maple Hill.
Memorial services will be at 5:00 P.M.Monday, January 6, 2014 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Keene Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home Monday afternoon.
