State Solo & Small Ensemble Festival

Rossville had a great showing at the 3A State Solo & Small Ensemble Music Festival held at Southeast of Saline High School on Saturday, April 29th.

Of 10 performances that qualified for State, 8 of them received 1-Ratings, which are "Superior," on the 5 level KSHSAA music rubric, and 2 of them received 2-Ratings, which are "Excellent."

Those who received 1-Ratings are:

Paul Borcherding - Flute Solo

Bryson Hase - Trombone Solo

Ava Stipp - Clarinet Solo

Ella Terliesner - Clarinet Solo

Jamie Brockamp - Vocal Solo

Flute Trio - Paul Borcherding, Abigail Escobar, and Madison Brown

Clarinet Quartet - Ava Stipp, Ella Terliesner, Meagan Huston, and Taylor Morelli

Brass Ensemble - Dawson Schaefer (Trumpet), Erika Hatina (Trumpet), Alexandra Broughton (French Horn), Tristan Shepherd (French Horn), Bryson Hase (Trombone), Eddie Brockamp (Trombone), Jonas Rewerts (Euphonium), and Colton Hadsall (Tuba).
