Vehicle Chase on US 24

    A vehicle chase that started in Pottawatomie County ended early Sunday in western Shawnee County, with one person reported in custody, authorities said. The chase was reported to Shawnee County authorities shortly before 8 a.m. as it was progressing east on US-24 highway in Pottawaomie County. The chase came to an end after it crossed over into Shawnee County, west of Rossville, authorities said. The vehicle being pursued was described as a flatbed pickup truck.
