Boys Lose BB Game To Chapman

    The RHS boys basketball team lost their final game at the Irish Classic tournament in Chapman on Dec. 10 by a score of 52-45.
     Cole Schumacher and Caiden Musick were both named to the All-Tournament team.

Dawg Wrestlers At Clay Center

    The Dawgs only had three wrestlers competing  at Clay Center  on Dec. 10.  They were tenth of the eleven teams competing, finishing behind Riley County.
    Phoenix Thomas was fifth in the 152 lb class.
    Bryce Gfeller won the  chanpionship in the 138 lb. class over Austin Lustfield of Smoky Valley High.
    Isaiah Luellen lost the championship match in the 160 lb. class to Hunter Mullen  of Clay Center High.

Clay Center’s Hunter Mullin won a battle of No. 1s, beating Rossville’s Isaiah Luellen 7-5 in the 160-pound finals at the Clay Center Invitational. Luellen, No. 1 in 3-2-1A, won the Mission Valley title. — Wabaunsee’s Kolby Droegemeier picked up titles at 145 pounds at both the Mission Valley and Clay Center Invitationals, pinning Beloit’s Zane Colson for the title at Clay Center. Riley Tubbs, No. 1 at 132, won at Mission Valley, but fell 3-2 to Hoxie’s Dayton Porsch in the Clay Center finals.

RHS Girls Dominate El Dorado

    The RHS girls basketball team played their second impressive game in the Irish Classic at Chapman on Dec. 9 in which they totally devastated El Dorado 47-17/

Delia Supper & Bazaar

     The Delia Presbyterian Church is having their annual Soup Supper & Bazaar tomorrow, Sat. Dec. 10
     Chili, oyster, vegetable & chicken noodle soup, sandwiches and delicious homemade pies will be served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Takeouts available. Auction bazaar begins at 7.

Rossville maintained its 8th place ranking with Bryce Gfeller still ranked #1 in 126 lb. 
and Isaiah Luellen ranked #1 in 160 lb.  Phoenix Thomas is still not ranked 
despite his winning the 138 lb. class at the Mission Valley Invitational.


RHS Girls Easily Beat Sacred Heart

The Rossville girls basketball team easily rolled over Sacred Heart in their first game at the Irish Classic at Chapman on Dec. 6 behind a stellar effort by Amanda Hill who scored 31 points.
