Message From Tom Dailey

Christmas is a'coming... I'm remembering the gathering in Rossville, KS where the Veteran's Monuments are now... there'd be a Christmas tree with lights and somebody giving away "stockings" of peppermint sticks, an orange, nuts, "squishy peanuts", and lumps of sugar with a thin veneer of chocolate on 'em. We'd sing Christmas carols and the kids would get a stocking... that was right after the church "children's programs... and THIS is my "piece" from 1949, when I was 6 years old.
