Tucker Horak Leads PSU to win

    To start the first quarter, halfback Tucker Horak scored on back-to-back goal-line touches to push the lead to 14-0 as Pittsburg State went on to destroy Northeastern State 58-3 on Sat.       Horak led the ground game with 57 yards on 10 carries.

But the Cubs got a touchdown and two-point conversion and then recovered the onside kick. Conor Haviland scored the game-winner with 37 seconds left and then sealed the win with an interception. Silver Lake’s C.J. Hamilton picked up career win No. 425 as the Eagles blanked Riley County 25-0.

RHS & Jeff West Split in VB

    Rossville split with Jeff West in volleyball on Sept. 19.  During the 6 games played,  the Lady Dawgs steadily got stronger as the games progressed with the last game being their best.  The RHS girls lost their first three games 16-25, 25-22, 29-31,  but steadily improved to finish out 25-25, 25-22, 25-9.
    Rossville is 5-4 thus far in the 2019 season.
