Verbal Threat Not Credible

From the Rossville Police Dept.
On 10/22/19 a student at Rossville Junior-Senior High made inappropriate statements to fellow students that were threatening in nature to other students at the school. The statements were reported to school administration who took appropriate action to safeguard our children. After investigation by school administrators and the Rossville Police Department, the threats were determined not to be credible. The threats made were not backed up by intent, ability, or resources to carry them out. Several rumors, including one of a supposed “list” of specifically targeted or threatened students, are false. Rossville is a small community and most of our children attend school here. This includes children of USD # 321 staff and the employees of the Rossville Police Department. We are all invested in the safety of our community and specifically, that of our children. The Rossville Police Department wishes to thank USD # 321 administration and staff for their cooperation and response to this unfortunate incident.

1937 Undefeated Football Team

Back in the 1950s I used to hear about the football teams of the 1930s.
The 1937 team was probably the best of the string.
They had an impressive 9-0  team allowing only 6 points by opponents.
During the years 1933-37, their record was 42-3
