Two Shawnee County residents were arrested Saturday
afternoon in Holton after officers responded to a stolen vehicle report,
according to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse.
The arrests
were made as a result of a joint-investigation by the Holton Police Department
and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Morse said.
Officers from
both agencies were called around 3 p.m. Saturday to the O’Reilly Auto Parts at
204 US-75 highway in Holton regarding a possible stolen vehicle.
Officers
determined that a 2004 Pontiac Vibe car had been reported stolen out of
Rossville, Morse said.
The arrest
individuals were identified as Theresa Michelle Fitzgibbons Miller, 34, of
Auburn, who was booked into jail in connection with possession of
methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Brad A. Emmerson, 52,
of Topeka, who was booked into jail in connection with felony possession of
stolen property.
