Ran for 1,214 yards and 16 TDs and threw for 1,007 yards and 17 TDs as sophomore. ... Three-year starter on defense and has 100 career tackles. ... Younger brother of two-time All-Stater Tucker Horak.
Coach’s comment
“He’s so at ease with who he is that the comparison (to Tucker) isn’t even a concern,” Rossville coach Derick Hammes said. “He has a confidence in his own ability and he does what he does for us very well. One of the traits I’ve talked about with him since his freshman year is he is mature beyond his years. He has great poise and is a smart, smart football player, and this year he understood he had a lot of complementary parts around him and he got them all involved. (In the title game) he was the best player on the field and he showed it on both sides of the ball.”
