Infant Lane Green Passes Away

Lane Joseph Green

May 7, 2024 — May 8, 2024

Rossville

This Sweet Boy was the little boy who completed our family! From the very beginning the odds were stacked against him. On March 29th, I went in for  an appointment that ended with me being admitted into Children’s Mercy Hospital for the remainder of my pregnancy. 40 days! 40 days of a  roller coaster ride of ups and downs but I knew no matter what hurt I was feeling or my family was feeling while I was away we knew this is what was best for Lane. We were so ready to meet him and eventually bring him home to a house full of so much love. On May 7th, 2024 our precious baby made his way into this world. He was born at 12:44pm and weighed 6lbs 3oz. The second Jordan and I saw him, those last 40 days were just swept away. He was finally here! Lane came with the expected complications that we had known about our entire pregnancy but they were much more severe than his little body could sustain. The amount of love that boy saw in the short 17 hours of life was an unconditional love he would have had his entire life. On early Wednesday morning, our Sweet Lane entered those Heaven gates with arms wide open from our Lord and Savior!

Lane was so so loved by so many already. We are ready to bring our boy back home where he belongs and lay his body to rest. On Saturday, May 11th, we will be having a service in honor of Lane Joseph Green. We know so many were unable to meet him but we ask so many to help us send him to his permanent home.
