Rosssille swept the 2A Regional with three wins on their way to the Regional Championship. on Oct 21 at Maur Hill. The opponents and scores are as follows.

Rossville was able to defeat St. Marys, but lost to Holton at the Rossville Triangular. on Oct. 17

Holton 12-25, 12-25 LRossville defeated Olpe 28-0 Friday night using a tight defense that stuffed the Olpe running game. Olpe had a good passer and they completed a number of passes that kept several sustained drives alive, but they could not over power the Dawg's Red Zone defense. Rosssville is now 4-0 in their district..

Pamela Jean Pasley of Rossville, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 66.
She was predeceased by: her father Donald Pasley; and her
brother Ronald "Ronnie Joe" Pasley. She is survived by: her mother
Grace Pasley; her sisters, Susan Gragert (John) and Christa Teel (Sean); her
daughters, Brandi Ruse (Shane) and Mandi Randall (Ronnie); and her grandson
Zachary Ruse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 24th
2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shelter House (2301 SE Lakewood Blvd,
Topeka, KS 66605). A burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00
AM at the Silver Lake Cemetery (3921 NW Thomas Rd, Silver Lake, KS 66539).
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to
consider making a donation to Rossville Healthcare & Rehab Center or
Interim Healthcare & Hospice in memory of Pam.

We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2024, Hunter Lee Schmidt of Rossville, Kansas passed away.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Richard Schmidt and
Michael Graves. He is survived by: his father Christopher Schmidt; his
girlfriend Jenn Lachcik; his girlfriend's children, Diego and Brooklyn; his
grandmothers, Kathy Graves and Mary Ann Schmidt; his uncles, Michael Graves
(Stefanie) and Matthew Schmidt (Nancy); his aunt Jessica Ferino (Scott); his
cousins, Ryan, Lily, Thomas, Caroline, Henry, Parker and Greyson; his mother
Melanie Alburtus; his father-in-law James; his brother Anthony Boud; and his
stepbrother Camden Alburtus.

Tayson Horak started the scoring with a KO return of 80 yards. with 11:47 on t he clock.
Connerr Bush scored with 9:05 remaining with an 11 yd run.
Andre Johnson finished the first qtr scoring with a one yard run with 3:10 left .
.Car Paravel started the scoring in the second qtr with a pass on a 4th and 28 on the 38 yard line.
Connor Bush adde the next TD with a 50 td run.
Maikai Jackson added a TD with a 30 yard pass reception at 5:28.
Tayson Horak added another 42 yd run with 1:29 remaining in the half.
Tayson Horak wrapped up the first half scoring with a 47 yard punt return for the last TD with 0:00 on the clock.
The second half was played with a "running clock" and many reserves gaining experience.
Scoring was a 47 yd pass from Horak to Jack Donovan, A ten Yd run by Canann Mitchell, and a 24 yd run by Canann Mitchell The final score was 71-24.
