Steven Balser, a senior at
Rossville High School has signed a letter of intent with Pratt Community
College to run track and field. Steven is a four-year letter winner at
Rossville in track and has also participated in football and basketball. Steven
specializes in the 400 meter dash and enjoys the 4 x 400 relay as his favorite
event. Steven is the most improved athlete on the team over the course of the
last 4 years and works everyday to become better. Pratt is currently in their second
year of having a track program, so Steven will be joining a relatively young
and aspiring team with whom he will be a good fit.

Great memories! Steven ended up also running cross country and being a yell leader for the cheer team. He now has a very successful career with Banner Creek (Johnsonville Brat Plant) in Holton, KS and has already been promoted to Team Lead at the age of 21. Very proud of my son!
