Erma Jean Wyckoff, 91, passed away Tuesday, January 9, at the Rossville Nursing Home in Rossville Kansas. She was born May 2, 1926 in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of William C. and Gladys M. (Shuey) Miley. Growing up, Erma Jean attended local schools and graduated from Abilene High School. On October 12, 1947, she was married to Duaine Wyckoff in Abilene. Erma Jean and Duaine lived in Carlton, Junction City, Council Grove and Clay Center. Erma Jean was a housewife and a cook at the Presbyterian Manor in Clay Center for 27 years. Her husband Duaine preceded her in death February 24, 1999.
Erma Jean is survived by: Daughter Donna (Guy) Horton of Emporia Kansas. Son, Dennis (Deb) Wyckoff of Berryton Kansas, and two grandchildren Christie and McKinlea Wyckoff.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 12th at the Danner Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Tessaro officiating. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery south of Holland.
The Family suggest memorial contributions in her name be made to the Clay Center Lutheran Church. They may be left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home POB 758 Abilene, Kansas 67410, until day of the service.
