The MEL wrestling tournament was Thursday Feb. 10, with Silver Lake coming out as the championship team.
Silver Lake has 21 league titles overall, the most of any school, and has won 15 league titles since 2000 including five of the last six.
Wins over Rossville (45-33), Riley County (66-18), St. Marys (69-12) and Wabaunsee (66-18) set up Silver Lake's final match with host Rock Creek, who had defeated Rossville (45-28), Wabaunsee (66-18), St. Marys (65-12), and Riley County (65-12).
