From the Ottawa Herald:
ROSSVILLE — Wellsville High School football team
ran into a buzzsaw Friday night in Rossville.
The defending 3A state champion Rossville Dawgs topped Wellsville, 49-0,
in the state semifinals.
“It
was confidence and momentum,” Wellsville coach Brad Burkdoll said. “We rode
this wave of momeuntum six or seven games. Now we are on the other end of it.”
Dawg senior quarterback Tucker Horak was as good
as advertised. He accounted for all seven scores and 414 yards. He passed for
three scores and rushed for four more.
