Services For Officer Kerry Dick

ROSSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) - Memorial services have been scheduled for a late Rossville Police officer who died from natural causes.

The Rossville Police Department says memorial services for Officer Kerry Dick, who died on Monday due to natural causes, will be held at Rossville High School at 800 Main St. at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Officer Dick had worked for RPD as a part-time officer since September 2007. He previously worked with the Wamego Police Department.

The services for Dec. 11 were postponed.

  1. ...Officer Kerry Dick was a fine man. Honest and fair from a young age, it isn't surprising to those of us who grew up with him that he would be a police officer. Kerry had a great wit, pulling practical jokes and laughing. Oh that laugh!! I love the way his eyes would light up when he knew he had you...that the joke was on you! Harmless pranks, memories for a lifetime. Kerry, I will never forget you. Thank you for your service, for your friendship and for all the kind things you did for me over the 40+ years I've known you.
