Karen G. Figge, 73 passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born November 10, 1939 at Silver Lake the daughter of LeRoy J. and Josephine Olejnik Pressgrove.
Karen graduated from Rossville High School in 1957. Mrs. Figge was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Topeka and a 50 year member of the ZCBJ Lodge, Rossville.
She was preceded in death by her father LeRoy Pressgrove. On November 29, 1958 she was united in marriage to Myron Figge at Wheaton. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her mother, Josephine Pressgrove, Rossville; sons, Rodney (Diane) Figge, Peyton, CO, Roy Figge, Colorado Springs, CO, Robbie (Debbie) Figge, and Rex (Sherry) Figge all of Wamego; a sister, Shirley Rosser, Duncan, OK; a brother, Ronald Pressgrove, Topeka; 8 grandchildren.
Mrs. Figge will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church 1716 SW Gage Blvd. Topeka, where there will be a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Wamego Cemetery, Wamego. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice or the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys, KS. 66536.
