John R. Floersch 58, Lake Clinton, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born February 4, 1957 at Topeka, the son of Joseph and Dolores Dohrman Floersch. John grew up in the Delia community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1975.
He owned and operated Lawn Care Plus Lawn Service in Johnson County. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors and cooking. He enjoyed being with family and spending time with friends. John was a member of the Catholic Church.
John was united in marriage to Sheila Copeland, they later divorced.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe on August 13, 2003 and his sister, Karen Crow on March 31, 2015.
Survivors include his mother, Dolores Floersch, Rossville; his son, Austin (Misty) Floersch. Olathe; his daughter, Emmy (Jason) Sedlacek, Rossville; a sister, Kathy (Bob) Olejnik, Rossville; a brother-in-law, Joe Crow, Delia; four grandsons, Caiden Musick, Ethan, Colton and Mason Floersch; 2 nephews and 3 nieces and his beloved dog, Reggie.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys where there will be a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.
