Garden Plain won at Kingman, 14-10, in a thrilling district game when Kingman nearly scored late. Osage City won at Wellsville, 45-20, and has quietly delivered a massive offensive turnaround. OC is second in 2A scoring offense behind Rossville with only a 22-15 home loss to Lyndon in Week 1. The huge game this week in the annual War on 24 with Rossville and Silver Lake, both in the same district. An upset occurred when winless Wellsville beat undefeated Eureka, though Wellsville plays in a much tougher league. Thomas More Prep is 5-1 and has the first winning season in nine years. With another win, Haven will have its first winning record since ’01.
