week and moving forward, the Capital-Journal will be recognizing the top
athletes in the area for their performances during the week.
Here are the week's top performers which will be updated until
the following the Friday. This list will be created every Monday, with top
performances being recognized starting from the prior Friday.
Are we missing someone? If you have a standout athlete that
we aren't recognizing, please include their name, school and stats in an email

Amelia Foster
The Rossville girls took first place at the Royal Valley Cross
Country Invitational on Sept. 26 at Hoyt City Park.
Foster finished first with a time of 21:48.14 and was one of
three Rossville runners in the top five along with Alexis Zabala (2nd,
22:17.40) and Cassie Fund (5th, 23:34.46)
