Rawling's and Hurley's

This photo,  taken about 1951-54, is of the Rawling's Hy-Klas grocery store and Hurley's Sundries on the west side of Main Street.     In the early 1960s, Hurley's store became Klesath's Drug Store.   John Hurley had the local funeral home in Rossville on East Perry,  and also had a used car lot at the corner of Main St. and US 24.  He was the father of Roger and Linda Hurley.
The Rawlings grocery store was once known as "the pint-sized super market" and was later sold to the Channel family which ran it for a number of years.
The Wehner hardware store occupies both of these buildings now.
