Notes — Even with standout running back Blake
Beckett, No. 2 Halstead was going to have its hands full against fellow
unbeaten Garden Plain. Without Becker, who had a leg injury, the Dragons looked
vulnerable. Instead, Eli McKee ran for 258 yards and Layke Heimerman added 129
on the ground and Halstead picked off Garden Plain late to survive 32-28.
