Two From RHS Make All-State Band
I am very pleased to announce that Rossville had two musicians make the 1A-4A All-State band after live auditions on Saturday, January 7th in Salina.
Ella Terliesner and Eva Stipp, both playing clarinet, will represent Rossville at the Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) convention in Wichita. The convention begins Thursday, February 23rd and concludes with the All-State ensemble concerts on Saturday, February 25th at the Century II Convention Center.
As far as the records show, Ella and Ava are the first Rossville students to make it to the All-State band since Teresa Lacock made it playing flute in the spring of 1995! 22 years later, we are sending a couple of students back to Wichita to represent Rossville in the All-State Band.
This ensemble represents the best of the best from the 1A-4A musicians in the entire state, and these ladies have worked very hard to make it to this point.
Go DAWGS!

Sports Illustrated Stadium Article
According to the Rossville Web Site, there was an article in Sports Illustrated that had a picture of Joe Campbell Stadium in one of the 1976 issues. Does anyone know which issue this would be in?
