Christi McKenzie (85) Is New Library Director

Please join the Rossville Community Library Board in welcoming new Library Director Christi McKenzie. As Director, Christi brings more than two decades of service in Rossville schools and a lifetime of contributions to the Rossville community.
"We're looking forward to see what new ideas Christi brings to the Rossville Community Library. She has always been an active member of the community, and we're excited to have her join our library team," said Board member Sarene McCrory. Christi said she looks forward to the opportunity to build upon the strength of programs¦ and connect and listen to the needs of patrons.

Christi graduated from RHS in 1985. Her husband is Alan McKenzie from the same class. Their  children are Jordan, Scott and Nicholas. She has had a career of over 20 years at RGS and RHS. Recently was the At-risk Coordinator, Student Council sponsor and Freshman class sponsor and TASMAD adult leadership team. She currently serves on the Rossville City Council as Park Commissioner.  She also is a volunteer for Rossville PRIDE and serves as president.  She is also  a member of Rossville Community Foundation. and  a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville.

Christi began her new role September 4, 2018. Make a point to come by Rossville Community Library or reach out to Christi to welcome her and offer your support to her as the library enters its next era of commitment to the Rossville community.
