From the Capital-Journal:
Last year, Jacob Carver was one of three returning offensive linemen for Rossville and with the other two, Brody Leitz and Mshewe Hale, now graduated. Carver is the guy with the most experience on the line.
Carver is now a two-time state champion with collegiate offers as well as a heavyweight wrestling state runner-up that owns the school squat record with a 525-pound lift.
Carver was part of an offensive line that allowed Rossville’s skill position players to thrive. Rossville averaged 406.6 yards per game on offense en route to their second straight, and fifth overall, state title.
Defensively, he was disruptive as a defensive tackle, adding 20 tackles and 5 tackles for loss and will play a key role on the defensive line this season.
