Dawgs Win Twice Against Osage City

GAME ONE

Osage City      0  0  0  1  2  0  0      3  7  5

    Leftfielder/pitcher Ethan Woodcock picked up two RBIs getting to base three times in three attempts via a error, a single, and a double.    Thatcher Horak picked up one RBI on a double and Devin Morris had one RBI on a single.
    Ethan Woodcock pitched five innings allowing 3 earned runs on seven hits, three strike-outs and one walk.  Thatcher Horak pitched two innings allowing no hits or runs and getting three strike-outs while issuing one walk.

GAME TWO

Rossville       6  2  3  0  -        11  9   2

    Game two ended with the Dawgs ahead 11-0 after 4 1/2 innings.  Nick Reesor led the offense with three RBIs by getting on base by an error, a single, and a home run.  Zack Nitsch had two RBIs and two runs on a HBP, a single, and a double.  Thatcher Horak also had two RBIs on a double and home run.  Christian Roduner had another pair of the numerous RBIs on an error and a fly out in two at bats.  Tucker Horak had two runs on no hits, but getting on base with a walk and an error.    Devin Morris had two singles and two runs,  but no RBIs.
    Tucker Horak pitched all five innings allowing only one hit,  no runs, one walk and getting six strike-outs.

    At this point,  Marcus Catron has the team leading batting average at .565.  Jack Steckel is second at .455.
