The RHS Girls finished eighth of ten teams at the Ray Kovar Invitational Track and Field Meet on May 2. However, there were several good performances by RHS girls.
In the girls 100 meter dash, Rachel Day finished first and Ashley Biehler came in second.
In the girls 200 meter dash, Rachel Day was high qualifier with a 27.16 run. However, in the finals, she came in third with a run of 28.25, not far behind Mattie Swisher who won with a 28.06 run.
Ashley Rietcheck came in third in the 400 meter run.
The RHS girls came in second in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
The RHS boys finished fourth of the ten teams competing with several good performances.
Zhaquarius Miller won the 100 meter dash.
Clayton Rubio was second in the 1600 meter run.
Kyle Parr was first in the 300 meter hurdles and second in the high jump.
The 4 x 800 meter relay team was first once again.
