K Preps 3A Football Rankings

#1 ROSSVILLE (3-0)
Last: beat Rock Creek, 55-21Rossville and Rock Creek were tied at 7 after one quarter, but the Bulldawgs scored 21 points in the second quarter to pull away. Tucker Horak carried 13 times for 353 yards and five touchdowns for Rossville. He also completed 9 of 10 passes for 90 yards and two more scores. Christian Roduner and Dawson Hammes each caught touchdown passes from Horak. The Bulldawgs rushed for 489 yards in the game.

#2 SCOTT CITY (3-0)
Last: defeated Goodland 42-14Scott City scored 21 points in the second quarter to build a 28-0 lead in beating Goodland. Cooper Griffith rushed for 155 yards and two scores, while Wyatt Kropp added 86 yards and a pair of scores on 13 carries. Bo Hess passed for 115 yards and a touchdown to give the Beavers some balance. Kropp hauled in the Hess' touchdown pass from 16 yards away.

#3 WICHITA COLLEGIATE (3-0)
Last: defeated 4A-II No. 2 Andale 46-45 in overtimeWichita Collegiate trailed Andale by 16 points twice in the second half before scoring twice in the final five minutes and winning 46-45 in overtime. Collegiate quarterback Austin Waddell scored from two yards out and then hit Jack Larsen on the two-point conversion to tie the score at 39 with 49 seconds remaining. Collegiate got the ball first in overtime and Waddell scored on a 5-yard run to give the Spartans their first lead of the game, 46-39. Andale would score to pull within 46-45, but Collegiate brought pressure and tackled Andale back Zach Meyer for a loss as he was looking to reverse field and throw a halfback pass.

#4 HALSTEAD (3-0)
Last: routed Hillsboro 55-7Halstead scored 43 first-half points in a 55-7 win over Hillsboro. Blake Beckett rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while Layke Heimerman added 117 yards on the ground and a score. Eli McKee rushed for 92 yards and a score and threw a touchdown pass.

#5 SILVER LAKE (3-0)
Last: beat Riley County 40-6Silver Lake jumped on Riley County early to ensure they wouldn't need overtime. The Eagles scored 26 points in the first quarter in beating the Falcons 40-6. Quarterback Dalton Dultmeier rushed for three touchdowns in the win. He also completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 203 yards and two scores.
